I write for a number of outlets, including Venice Magazine, French USA Media, (Ouest-France, Le Monde Magazine, and Marie Claire Group) Malibu and Collective Magazine (coming March 2010). My articles range from an idyllic afternoon rehashing Beatles lyrics and conversing in broken French with Eddie Izzard, to chatting with Spinal Tap about the hidden meaning of "Sex Farm." I have discovered what's behind that famous Golden Door, had a few wonderful conversations with Dominick Dunne, and experienced all that is the Oscars (except the show itself). I've even been in Madame Figaro talking about those savvy Mad Men. In addition, I cover a variety of events for the aforementioned magazines, as well as various others.
In short form, I have created promos that have made Hef proud, Kardashians cry, and Joel McHale a better person. I've also done a slew of interstitials and sales reels for the likes of MIPCOM and NATPE.
In long form, I just finished a documentary on the evolution of women in film for ARTE that will debut in March of 2010 in France and Germany. Currently I'm working on another documentary for the French, that will debut in 2011. Previous producing experiences include - but are not limited to - the joys of talking dog yoga, how to cobble together a motorcycle in under 10 days, and gastric bypass surgery performed in a former President's home state (though he was never a patient).
